I rode RAGBRAI 11 or 13 from Onawa to Dubuque.I heard of riders who had a beer in every tavern along the route. I knew of some who rode miles out of their way to get a cold one. The best beer i ever remember was in a little place in Slater. i think I probably ate a Bratwurst for every mile. I live in Oregon now where we have a “Cycle Oregon”, but it’s nothing like RAGBRAI, Best 7 days I’ve ever spent.
