FOOD AND BREW: Stop by Pete & Shorty’s, a restaurant in Clarksville that inspired the Hooters restaurant chain. There are other food and drink stops, including a beer garden and homemade goodies available from local groups and businesses.

ILLUSIONS: With the wave of a wand, Waverly is bringing magic to RAGBRAI this year. In Kohlmann Park, Iowa magician Eric Michaels will perform illusions and offer some spark.
