Here’s what you need to know about Day 7 of RAGBRAI XLVIII, when we ride from DeWitt to Clinton!

It’s our last day of RAGBRAI XLVIII! Try to take your time and enjoy it. It’s not as hilly as our last days sometimes are:

Today’s ride is 31.6 miles with approximately 1,148 feet of climb. On our way from DeWitt to Clinton, we will visit Charlotte, Goose Lake, and Six Mile.  Stop by the People for Bikes booth downtown in every overnight town for route cards with more accurate between-town mileages.

When you arrive on Main Avenue, there will be a street dance between Lyons Tap & Bicycle Station. There are restaurants near by and the road will be blocked for cyclists. Then after you dip your tires downtown, Riverview Drive will have a band featuring Brooke Byam, Random Tanner, Dave Layton of the Unidynes, and more. There will be food vendors and Jaycees beer tent. You will exit into our downtown which has shopping, restaurants, and more. Then on your way out of town, there are additional restaurants.

Fuel Up at Kwik Star Photo Contest

#FuelUp at KwikStar on RAGBRAI XLVIII. Whether you need snacks, caffeine, take home meals, or fuel, stop by one of the Kwik Stars along the RAGBRAI route to fuel up. To enter the contest take a picture of your fuel up choice, and post it to Instagram/Facebook, tag @RAGBRAI and @KwikStar or @KwikTrip and use #FuelUpRAGBRAI2021. Seven lucky winners will receive a $100 gift card to Kwik Star! Winners will be announced the week after the ride.
