Wristbands and Registration Merchandise - rolling your way soon!

With RAGBRAI XLVI just over a month away it’s time to get serious about the big ride! We have had lots of people asking about participant (wristband) packets and merchandise so we thought we would publish a blog with some reminders.
We are exactly on schedule with wristband shipping but have not yet shipped out any 2018 participant packets. They normally go out during the last two weeks of June and the first week of July, and we are preparing to ship out our first big batch later this week.
Once participant packets are shipped, you or your group leader will be sent a tracking number via email from our shipping software, Stamps.com.
If you are a in a group, your packet will be shipped to your group leader. You will need to arrange with them to receive your participant packet.
International riders who are not in groups – you will need to pick up your participant packet at the RAGBRAI Expo in downtown Onawa on Saturday, July 21.
For those who transferred wristbands – the wristband will ship to the original owner of the bands. It is up to you to arrange for shipping or in-person transfer from one participant to the other. The sale of ride credentials is a private transaction. However, a resold credential will not be valid unless it is officially transferred in the RAGBRAI office to the new owner before the event begins. For those who ordered merchandise – orders from our web store and registration merchandise are shipped separately. The reason you have not received your registration merchandise and your friends received their web store merchandise is that we ship web store orders immediately and registration merchandise along with the participant packets. Again, participant packets will start shipping out this week and continue to be sent through the first week of July. If you’re in a group your jersey/shorts/bibs will be sent to your group leader.

Is the RV/SUV pass for my group going to be mailed in the group registration packet?
“They [packets] normally go out during the last two weeks of June and the first week of July, and we are preparing to ship out our first big batch later this week.” Not quite so. Historically, packets have gone out much closer to the first week of June. If you search on “packets” on this site, you see announcements from earlier years (2009, 2010 2011) around the end of May and first week of June talking about packets being mailed. Even in 2017, the packets began shipping the first week of June. This appears to be a schedule change this year, which is fine, plenty of time left, but that’s probably why you’re getting so many questions.
It’s July 2nd still no wristbands or merchandise. We leave for Iowa in 18 days. When can we expect our package of wrist bands and merchandise? Team Bust n Butts needs their stuff.
you’ll get an email (if you registered online) when the packet is shipped… they worked this weekend and likely the 4th to get the packages out as quickly as possible… thanks for the patience
Hello TJ. I haven’t received the packet of bands for our team, nor email stating they’ve shipped as of yet. From what ID would the email arrive?

Have not received packet or ordered merchandise or email confirming they have been sent. Going to be traveling a lot in the next week – should I be worried. Thx

I emailed yesterday and got this response:
“Jim-
If your group’s packet isn’t on its way to you now it will be very soon! They shipped thousands on Friday.
Our last shipment will go out this week, likely Tuesday. Once your group’s packet is shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number from our shipping software, Stamps.com, if you registered online. Check your spam filter to see if you already received this email.
They have been working weekends and through the Fourth to make sure everything gets out on time. Thanks for your patience and hope you and your team have a great time on the ride!

I have no doubt that people are working their ***** off trying to get everything shipped, but it is a little nerve-wracking knowing that we’re almost out of time and the packets haven’t arrived. I guess we should hear something today or tomorrow.
its july 9 and i have not herd a word about my order or team package . we leave for ragbrai on the 18th .I hope its not lost or sent to some one else
