Want to sell your registration, or purchase a wristband from a third party? Registration transfers are now open. Here’s how you do it!
Find someone to purchase or sell their band
It is your responsibility to find a seller or purchaser for your wristband. One option is to do this through word of mouth. Your local bike shop or club can be a great resource for this. Or you can post to the RAGBRAI fan groups on Facebook. We recommend RAGBRAI LIII and RAGBRAI Newbies.
To transfer the registration:
- The original registrant should log into their account, here. Then, find the RAGBRAI registration under “Registrations” from the left menu bar.
- Click the three dots in the top of your upcoming event then “Transfer Registration.”
- Simply enter the new registrant’s email address, and they’ll receive an email to complete the transfer process.
- The link in the transfer email will expire in 48 hours. Please encourage the recipient to complete the transfer on their end as soon as possible!
- After going through the registration process and paying the registration price that the original registrant paid, the new registrant will receive an email confirmation that they are registered. The original registrant receive a new email confirming that their registration has been cancelled. The original registrant will be refunded the registration fee to their original payment method in 7-10 days.
Please note: vehicle passes and souvenir packs will not be transferred to the new registrant.
The new registrant will need to purchase these items during their transfer registration process if they would like them. The original registrant will automatically be refunded for any vehicle passes or souvenir passes purchased with their registration. This will automatically be sent to their original payment method. Note: these refunds may take a bit longer to come through than the registration refund. Products like jerseys, shorts, and bibs, cannot be refunded as these items have already shipped.
Trouble initiating the transfer? Send the new registrant’s email address to [email protected], and we can send them the transfer link on your behalf!
