We are excited to introduce you to the theme and logo for our 53rd annual ride, RAGBRAI LIII. The 2026 logo celebrates the water tower – that beloved RAGBRAI sight, the physical reminder of goals about to be achieved, the destination that riders watch for on the horizon.
But the “Iowa Classic” theme is more than just water towers. It also ties in Iowa’s 180th Anniversary in 2026, the United States’ 250th Anniversary, and RAGBRAI’s 53rd crossing of the state. To many RAGBRAI riders, classic Americana means blue jeans, apple pie, and small-town water towers.
“We are excited to officially launch RAGBRAI LIII with the 2026 logo and theme,” said Matt Phippen, RAGBRAI Ride Director. “Each water tower is distinct, reflecting the personality of its community. Some painted in vibrant colors, others with murals or historical tributes. It’s this diversity that makes our ride so special. No two towns are alike, just as no two riders share the same story.”
