Support Iowa’s Community Bike Shops

Iowa’s Community Bicycle Shops will be the Community Fund beneficiary for RAGBRAI LIII. Funds raised will be directed to 6 Community Bicycle Shops in Iowa: The Iowa City Bike Library, the Street Collective in Des Moines, Chain Reaction Bike Hub in Cedar Rapids, Cedar Valley Bicycle Collective in Waterloo, We-Cycle in Ames, and the Dubuque Bike Co-Op. Organizations like We-Cycle, the Street Collective, and the Bike Library advance the common goal of making bicycles accessible to all—whether they provide free bikes to unhoused folks, advocate for better infrastructure, or offer youth programming.

RAGBRAI LIII is July 18-25, 2026

The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) is the longest, largest, and oldest recreational bicycle touring event in the world. Since 1973, RAGBRAI has united thousands of cyclists to experience the beauty of Iowa’s countryside, small‑town hospitality, and unforgettable memories.
