Day 4 – MARSHALLTOWN
The fourth day of RAGBRAI LIII takes us from Boone to Marshalltown, 67.9 miles and 1,819 feet of climb, while riding on a portion of the Historic Iowa Byways Lincoln Highway.
“We believe RAGBRAI is about more than the ride; it’s about the people. That’s why this year, our message is simple. All Wheels Welcome. Marshalltown is an inclusive, diverse community, and we pride ourselves on our friendliness, collaborations, and global innovations. From seasoned cyclists to first-time riders, support crews to spectators, this is a place where everyone has a spot, a story, and a reason to celebrate.”

Map Files

Download these GPX files for your turn by turn navigation on each specific route. These files can be uploaded to your bike computer or used on your smartphone through the Ride With GPS app.
Support drivers have two route options to reach the next town:
- Direct Route (No Meeting Town): This route avoids the meeting town and the bike route, offering the fastest way to the next overnight town.
- Meeting Town Route: This route takes you into the meeting town’s staging area, where you can safely connect with your team, friends, or family.
