When will RAGBRAI release the full 2022 route?

Full 2022 Route Release Update 

Due to the recent deadly tornadoes, we’ve made the decision to hold the full release of the route until later to give our partners at the Des Moines Register time to focus their efforts on keeping Iowa informed. Our updated schedule is to release the full route on Sunday, March 27 in the Des Moines Register and DesMoinesRegister.com. Daily map releases will be found on RAGBRAI.com and our social channels.

The RAGBRAI Newbies Facebook page worked with American Red Cross on a donation link to help disaster relief efforts around the recent deadly tornadoes in the state of Iowa. RAGBRAI will match up to the first $5,000 in donations.

Overnight town planning continues in Des Moines

This Thursday, March 10 the RAGBRAI team spent the day at the Sheraton West Des Moines with our eight overnight towns and several of our valued partners and sponsors for an all-day workshop. We covered campgrounds, beer gardens, entertainment, rider experience, food safety, rider safety, road safety, and so much more! Your 2022 overnight towns are hyped and ready to host. Our team won’t be back on the road until 3/21 when we visit the eastern part of the state. Stay tuned for more fun updates from the towns and RAGBRAI as our planning continues.
