Hello all!
Super excited for my first ever RAGBRAI! The sight of 10,000 pedal-maniacs will be great to witness. The weeklong bands were sold out, so I shelled out a couple extra smokes to ride for the week ($30/day). Would anyone know when these wristbands will arrive by snail mail? I also ordered the shorts and jersey (mine need to be replaced ;) so I’m waiting for those as well)

We too are waiting for our packets. They were to be sent end of May through middle of June. Now it is the middle of June! No word that they are on their way.
No packet yet. But I believe they are working hard to get the 10,000 wristband packets out before July first. Rather than worry about it, I think I will go for a bike ride, eat some pie, and have a beer !
Am I correct to assume you did not get picked in the lottery? That is unusual.
Received my e-mail on 6/14 indicated packet would arrive on 6/17. We’ll see what happens.
I haven’t received an e-mail nor of course my Ragbrai packet. Teammate did last week. I have my badge number so not concerned…yet.
Amen to a ride, pie and beer (not necessarily in that order).

I registered November 2015 for the week and still haven’t received an email or packet. ((shrugs shoulders))
No email or packet yet. I too want to check out the new jersey and shorts!

I spoke briefly with TJ (the ride director) today and he said 500 packets are being shipped each work day with the single registrations first then the group packets. If you have a registration number I don’t think “concern” should set in until after July 4th, if not by then you should inquire by email.

Sounds about right. At that rate it would take 20 working days to send out 10k packets and that would take most of June. I get the feeling that it is going slower or started later this year but that could just be because this is the first year I have been the group contact and felt responsible for getting the registration done right, on time, and distributing the credentials. In previous years I never paid any attention to this part of the process. I have a wristband number and I have a backup plan. If the Register should fail me there is a local tattoo parlor that can fix me up …. ;)
UPDATE: I never received an email to say anything is on it’s way, but I got my jersey, shorts, and packet today.
Got my e-mail last night, should see the package on Monday.
